The "Corvette Servo" that OPT sells that I am reviewing here is NOT the "Superior 2nd Gear Super Servo" so I DID use "spring A". If you get the whole package like I did, the "SUPER SERVO" "4th Apply Piston & Cover" comes with it's own instructions that say to leave out "spring A" if "this servo is being used along with the "Superior 2nd Gear Super Servo". The kit comes with all of the necessary seals for installation including the outer cover o-ring. Any travel over 1/8” can create a situation of no overdrive. We are finding that when using the billet overdrive servo in conjunction with the corvette servo, this correct travel range is crucial. The long servo pin option on this item can help to get this travel within the correct range. Getting your servo within this travel range can make the shifts even quicker and add more miles and years to your transmission’s life. The recommended servo travel is 1/16”-1/8”.
